
If you are looking for a quiet rural location, whilst still in easy reach of all the main attractions in the area, Tanleys could be just what you are searching for. It is situated within the Cairngorms National Park, just off the A95. Tanleys is 5.8 miles from Grantown-on-Spey, 9.8 miles from Aviemore and 32 miles from Inverness.
B &B accommodation is available in the house for the exclusive use of a group of up to four members of a family or friends. The accommodation has a private lounge/dining room, two double bedrooms, one en-suite and one with a large private bathroom and there is a private balcony accessed from French doors in the lounge. Both the bedrooms and lounge/dining room offer beautiful views across the open countryside and you can have breakfast with a view, overlooking the Cairngorm mountains framed by majestic pine trees.
If you want a little more independence you could choose the Skye Pod, which provides self-catering accommodation for the exclusive use of a couple or solo traveller. Skye Pod is a newly built (2023) self contained unit, set in a quiet corner of my garden and offers glamping with style. The accommodation consists of a lounge/kitchenette, which has all the equipment you will need for that home away from home vibe. There is a separate bedroom with a UK king-sized bed, a wardrobe and drawers Next to this is a separate bathroom with a standard size shower , toilet and sink with storage and a heated towel rail. The double doors from the lounge lead to a private seating area with rural views and in the evening you can take advantage of the low level of light pollution and enjoy the dark skies.
The Cairngorms National Park is the largest National Park in the UK and offers endless things to do all year round, walks to suit all abilities, including the famous Speyside Way, wildlife watching and tours, winter and water sports, fishing in the Spey, many local attractions , stunning drives, even castles. Local Ness is only 45 miles away if you fancy a spot of monster hunting.
