Terms & Conditions for Tanleys B&B and Skye Pod

All direct bookings are provisional until confirmation has been received.

The B&B price includes a daily breakfast service.

Cancellations made within 3 days of your booking will incur a charge of 100% of your accommodation price.

For direct B&B bookings, the full balance of your stay is payable, at the latest, after breakfast on your final morning, if made by cash, debit/credit card. Payment by bank transfers must be made on the last evening of stay.

For direct Skye Pod bookings, the full balance of your stay is payable on arrival and should be made by cash, debit/credit card.

Check in is between 4pm-9pm, please do not arrive earlier to allow time to clean the rooms between stays. Check out is by 10 am on your last morning.

As Tanleys is located in a quiet rural area please keep loud noise/behaviour within the building or in the garden area to a minimum between the hours of 10pm-7am.

No smoking or vaping or naked flames (candles/matches) are allowed within the building. Smoking is allowed in the garden/seating area, but please dispose of waste in the bin provided.

Pets are not allowed within any of the buildings.

A maximum of 2 guests per bedroom is permitted and 4 guests in total in the B&B. A maximum of 2 guests is allowed within the Skye Pod. In the pod as there is only one bed, regretfully booking the pod for anyone under 18 is not an option. Any infringement of this will be seen as a breach of contract and you will be asked to leave. You will not be entitled to a refund.

In the unlikely event that your reservation has to be cancelled by the host due to circumstances beyond their control, you will be provided a full refund of monies paid and assistance in trying to find you alternative accommodation. No further financial claims will be considered.

No liability shall be accepted by the owner for loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to the guests either in the property, in cars, bicycles or other vehicles on the property, Nor shall liability be accepted by owner for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.

Please inform the host as soon as possible if you have a complaint with your accommodation or if you find that anything is faulty within the accommodation, in order that it can be repaired or alternative arrangements can be made. Please be aware it may not be possible for any such repairs to be completed during your stay.

It is strongly recommended that all guests have their own travel insurance in case of unexpected occurrences or illnesses.

Broadband Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the accommodation. However, service cannot be guaranteed. Guests are expected to use this access fairly and appropriately. Access to illegal activity or use of the networks for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to the local authorities.

Please take care when you are staying at Tanleys B&B or in the Skye Pod. You are responsible and liable for any breakages and damages which you cause to the accommodation and its contents. Please report any spill, damages, or breakages as soon as they occur. It may be necessary to make a charge for repair if the damage or breakage is significant.

Please note that if any keys issued to you, are not returned at the end of your stay, the cost of a replacement will be charged to you.

Guests are responsible for the safety and security of their children within and around the B&B at all times. Never leave children without adult supervision. Children are not permitted in the Skye Pod.

Please remember that Tanleys is a privately owned house and it is asked that you please respect it as you would your own home.
